There has been no stopping the popularity of the freestyle dressage to music test.
Have you always wanted to know how to get involved but never knew what to do? So what is dressage to music? Is there anything I must include in the test? How can I make sure I get as many points as possible? What are some common mistakes? How do you choose what music suits your horse? How many types of music will I have to choose? Does my test need to be symmetrical? Plus many more things will be answered…..
If you want to have a go it is worth watching a few to give you ideas of what works and what doesn’t.
BRC run competitions at the championships and Ackworth RC are keen to send members to the area qualifiers.
At the demo Claire will explain what is needed, floor plans, movements required, music licenses etc.
After the demo Claire will be available to chat about using her to do a package to set you up, (choreography) this includes discussing yours and your horses strengths and weaknesses, Claire will produce a floor plan, timings, help you to choose your music, put your music together for you and then finally bring it all together ready for you to go out and compete with. The package includes going back with your horse for the training and advice too.
This event is open to members and non-members. Tickets are £12.50 if booked online in advance or £15 on the gate.
